The seventh Sparsh Health Mela was organised by the Sparsh Society and Sun Valley International School on November 5. Sparsh Health mela is a unique effort where schoolchildren raise awareness among masses about different aspects about health. Sparsh Society also organised workshops on road safety in over 30 schools in which over 12,000 kids created posters on road safety. These posters were later displayed for public at an exhibition. The best poster award was won by Avantika Priyadarshini of Summerfields School.
A street play competition was also organised on the same subject. Sun Valley School won the first prize while the second prize was won by Grace Homes, Indirapuram. Also organised was a blood donation camp wherein around 50 people donated blood. For the first time in seven years, a special workshop was conducted for school principals and teachers on how to tackle medical emergencies in school as well as guidance in first aid.
