They came on stage… They walked the ramp… They conquered everyone’s hearts… This is what one felt after watching kids from the underprivileged section of society sashay down the ramp with confidence alongside icons of the corporate world; not to forget, the Australian High Commissioner to India Harinder Sandhu too who, very sportingly, followed a sweet little girl on stage who stole the limelight with her poise, grace and confidence.
An initiative by Navjyoti India Foundation, Kids on Ramp-age provides an exclusive opportunity to the kids of under-served communities of Delhi-NCR to share a joyous experience and encourages each one of them to fearlessly pursue their own dreams and helps them live it. The fifth edition of Kids on Ramp-age was organised association with Select Citywalk in partnership with India Vision Foundation and supported by Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN) last evening at the Saket mall.
The evening also witnessed the launch of Navjyoti’s annual magazine with 26 stories of leadership shown by the child leaders of the Bal Gurukul from rural and urban areas. These stories aim to inspire the world to do better and create positive change. Present on the occasion was the Lt Governor of Puducherry, the founding member and mentor of Navjyoti India Foundation Kiran Bedi and Ms India Earth 2017 Shann Suhas Kumar.
