CBSE national level science exhibition at Mount Abu Public School

A three-day CBSE National Level Science Exhibition was held at Mount Abu Public School, Sector -5, Rohini in New Delhi. The exhibition witnessed 885 participants with 451 exhibits based on different sub-themes like digital and technological solutions, health and well-being, mathematical modelling, resource management and food security, transport and communication, waste management and water body conservation.


The event was inaugurated in the presence of chief guest Dr Antriksh Johri, director IT (projects) and chief information security officer at CBSE along with the guest of honour KK Choudhury, controller of examinations, CBSE and special guests Dr BC Sabata, senior scientific officer, Department of Environment; C Uday Kumar, District Magistrate (North West); Archana Thakur, deputy director, CBSE; former principal CRPF Public School Suraj Prakash who lit the lamp of knowledge and declared the exhibition open and DN Arora, chairman, Mount Abu Public School.

The valediction ceremony saw the presence of eminent dignitaries — Anurag Tripathi, secretary, CBSE; Rajeev Chandran, national information officer, United Nations Information Centre for India and Bhutan; Dr Sanyam Bhardwaj, director (academics), CBSE; Dr Sushil Gupta, MP, Rajya Sabha; Shashi Bala Saini, deputy director of education (NWB) and SK Bhattacharya, president, Action Committee of Unaided Recognised Private Schools who uplifted the morale of the children. The day concluded with the prize distribution ceremony where cash prizes and certificates were given to outstanding exhibits in each category. The dignitaries appreciated the school for the smooth conduct of exhibition and praised the students for their outstanding effort in making innovative exhibits showcasing unique ideas thus spreading scientific fervour all around.

A vote of thanks was proposed to the CBSE for the opportunity of hosting the exhibition and all the esteemed dignitaries for their gracious presence and all the teachers and participating students for their enthusiasm in making the show a grand success.
