District Chaunna soccer championship at Yadu Public School, Noida

A six-a-side soccer sport, Chaunna, is a power game. According to Chaunna soccer format, in a team format “only six players with three substitutes” shall be in a team as prescribed by the world federation. The soccer ground size shall be 60m x 45m with a minimum size of 40m x 30m.

West Chaunna Soccer Association is an apex body responsible to promote Chaunna through tournaments, camps, selection and conduct trials in the entire region on behalf of Delhi NCR Chaunna Board & Board of Chaunna Federation for India (BCFI).

Senior vice president, UP (West) Chaunna Association, Sankalp Bansal recently informed that Chaunna season takes off in north India and now jointly UP-West & Delhi-NCR board began this from district and an Open Chaunna Championship at Yadu Public School, Sector 73, Noida.

Principal Yadu Public School Mrs Mrinalini shared that this time the association is conducting U- 15 & U-18 age group division for boys & girls categories at the school beginning August 24. The association had planned this event as Yadu Public School was the winner of the last tournament held at Ramagya Public School, Noida.
