Sports multiplex inaugurated at Mount Abu Public School

A sports multiplex of international standard comprising facilities for cricket, football, taek-won-do and archery was inaugurated at Mount Abu Public School in Rohini, New Delhi recently. The day also witnessed a mega career fair and Atal Tinkering Fest kicking off.

The celebrations commenced with the chief guest Member of Parliament Manoj Tiwari and special guest senior scientific officer, Department of Environment, Govt of NCT Delhi Dr BC Sabata inaugurating the facilities and thereafter lighting the lamp along with  Mount Abu Public School chairman Dina Nath, managing director Bharat Arora and school principal Jyoti Arora. This was followed by a mesmerising dance performances by Mapians.

The career fair, with participation of diverse reputed  universities across Delhi for counselling of students regarding career options, was organised in association with EDU TV and Knowledge Confluence.

As a tribute to former prime minister of India Atal Bihari and to celebrate the first Anniversary of ATL Lab in the school premises, the Atal Tinkering Fest was held whereby children from reputed schools across Delhi exhibited their tinkering talent through innovative models and projects. Panel discussion by the participants highlighted the significance of Artificial Intelligence in life.
