Ashok Khemka

Ashok Khemka, an IAS officer of the 1991 batch, is best known for canceling the mutation of Sonia Gandhi’s, son-in-law, Robert Vadra’s illegal land dealing in Gurgaon. He is one of such courageous and daring bureaucrats that he has pulled down many corrupt acts and stopped in-force illegal activities. As of 2021, 30 years of service he’s been transferred 53 times by State Governments. Khemka is Haryana’s second-most transferred bureaucrat after a retired IAS officer, Pradeep Kasni, who had been transferred 71 times in 35 years. As of March 2019, Khemka is currently DG of Archives & Archaeology in Haryana state.
