From being an environmentalist by heart to a crusader who drove Hyderabad to emerge as the leader of recycling initiatives in India, Hari Chandana Dasari, Zonal & Additional Commissioner, GHMC has always been an inspiration for many. She cleared the UPSC Civil Services exam in her second attempt and got into the I.A.S. (Indian Administrative Service) and was allocated the Telangana State Cadre. I.A.S. 2010 Batch. Parents always have been her motivation. Now her daughter also is a source of motivation for her, to the extent that she reminds all that it is our generous social responsibility to leave a better world to the next generation. She is currently the West Zone Zonal Commissioner at GHMC and the Additional Commissioner for CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).
Hari is associated with Mother Teresa’s, Missionaries of Charity, Musheerabad, Chapter, Hyderabad for the last 10 years. She visits and organizes food donations once every month.
